soldier

a person who serves in an army

tank

a heavy armored fighting vehicle carrying guns and moving on a continuous articulated metal track

battalion

a large body of troops ready for battle, especially an infantry unit forming part of a brigade

camouflage

the use of any combination of materials, coloration, or illumination for concealment, either by making animals or objects hard to see, or by disguising them as something else

drone

an unmanned aircraft that can navigate autonomously, without human control or beyond line of sight

grenade

a small bomb thrown by hand or launched mechanically

mission

a specific operation or duty assigned to a person or group of people

"Their mission was to patrol the area and report any suspicious activity."

rank

a level in the military or naval forces, such as sergeant or captain

sniper

a military marksman who operates alone, in a pair, or with a sniper team to maintain close visual contact with the enemy and shoot enemies from concealed positions or distances exceeding the detection capabilities of enemy personnel

relating to or constituting actions carefully planned to gain a specific military end
