Budget

An estimation of income and expenses for a set period of time.

Client

A person or organization using the services of a professional or company.

"The client was extremely satisfied with the new website design her consultant delivered."

Credit Rating

A measure of an individual's or company's ability to repay borrowed money.

"Maintaining a high credit rating is crucial for companies that wish to borrow money at favorable interest rates."

Cutback

A reduction in something, often workforce or expenses.

"Due to budget cutbacks, the company had to reduce its workforce significantly."

Earnings

Money obtained in return for labor or services.

"Her earnings from her latest novel far exceeded her expectations, enabling her to take a well-deserved vacation."

Equity

Ownership interest in a company, often in the form of stocks.

"The company is seeking to increase its value and provide greater equity to all its shareholders."

Household Name

A person or brand that is widely recognized.

Luxury Goods

High-quality items that are not essential but are highly desirable.

Capital Punishment

The legally authorized killing of someone as punishment for a crime.
