Curb

To control or limit something.

"To ensure pedestrian safety, the city added a high curb along the perimeter of the playground."

Conserve

To protect something and prevent it from being used up or destroyed, often in terms of natural resources like water or energy.

"To ensure a steady water supply during the drought, everyone in the town was advised to conserve water by fixing leaks and taking shorter showers."

Emit

To send out or give off.

"The chemical plant was found to emit large quantities of pollutants into the atmosphere, causing concern among environmental groups."

Exhaust

To use up completely.

"After a long day of work, I was completely exhaust and couldn't wait to get into bed."

Harness

To control and use.

"Engineers are working to harness the energy of the sun to create a sustainable power source."

Amalgamate

To combine or unite into one.

To satisfy or make happy.

To talk about other people's private lives.

To show or signal.
